Matilde Almodovar de Faria Laurentino, Bachelor in Biology - Environmental Biology branch (2018), and Master in Marine Ecology (2021) from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. Developed her master’s dissertation in São Tomé Island, exploring the perceptions of the local population (namely to fishermen and fishmongers) of the importance of marine ecosystems conservations and sharks protection. Currently with a research contract under the NIPOGES project, as part of the team at the Nova School of Science & Technology, NOVA University of Lisbon.
